Survive To Rescue is an immersive wilderness survival course meticulously crafted to equip participants with essential skills, resilience, and a prepared mindset necessary to endure and overcome wilderness emergencies lasting 24 to 72 hours. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or a novice explorer, this course offers comprehensive hands-on training and real-world scenarios designed to enhance your wilderness survival capabilities.
Course Overview: Survive To Rescue focuses on building a solid foundation in wilderness survival, emphasizing adaptability and conquering challenging environments. Led by seasoned instructors, this course empowers participants to navigate unforeseen obstacles in remote settings with confidence.
Prerequisites: No prior experience is required. This course welcomes individuals eager to embark on a journey toward self-sufficiency and competence

Course Outlook: Participants will engage in both individual and paired tasks following comprehensive demonstrations by instructors. The initial phase of the course will be based at a comfortable basecamp equipped with amenities such as restrooms and warm showers, ensuring easy access to personal gear and camp setup.
On day four, you will transition to a wilderness setting. Here, you'll establish your emergency shelter using minimal gear as specified by instructors and undertake practical challenges to reinforce your acquired skills in a realistic environment.
The course concludes with final testing back at basecamp, validating participants' readiness to handle wilderness emergencies effectively.
Eligibility Requirements: Students must be at least 12 years old
Course Expectations: Prepare for physical challenges across moderate terrain, fostering confidence in wilderness navigation and crisis management. Participants will emerge equipped with the self-sufficiency and resilience needed to tackle outdoor challenges head-on.
Meetup Location: Students need to meet our staff near The Brick House Campground, 49 Brick House Rd, Whitmire, SC 29178 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM Monday.
Directions: From I-26, take exit #60 (SC 66), drive east for 3.5 miles. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 358 and drive .1 miles. There is a field just a short drive to your left. You will see our staff members parked at the entrance of the field to meet you. Turn in and they will provide you with instructions. (This is the meetup location unless otherwise noted). From there you will be led to the school property.
Early Arrivals: If you plan to arrive early. There are several hotels near by and The Brick House Campground has primitive camping available with some sites first come first serve and others available for registration.
